The Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human contains probes #1 to #90 of the 165 Universal ProbeLibrary Probes. In combination with the unique ProbeFinder assay design software, these 90 hydrolysis probes provide real-time PCR assays for more than 98% of the 37,000 human gene transcripts included in the NCBI Reference Sequence Database.
The probes are dual-labeled with a reporter fluorophore (FAM) and a dark quencher dye. They are used in standard real-time PCR assays, on standard real-time PCR instrumentation.

90 vials, each containing 125 µl, 10 µM of a Universal ProbeLibrary probe, 5'-end labeled with fluorescein (FAM) and 3'-end labeled with a dark quencher dye.
Use the Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human to obtain rapid and flexible quantification of gene expression levels for virtually all human genes included in the NCBI Reference Sequence Database, in real-time PCR assays on the LightCycler® 480 System, the LightCycler® Carousel-Based System, or other commercially available real-time PCR instruments. Perform an assay with a probe selected from the Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human by following established real-time PCR protocols using the LightCycler® 480 Probes Master or the LightCycler® TaqMan® Master on the LightCycler® Carousel-Based System, or the FastStart TaqMan® Probe Master (or other real-time PCR-compatible reagents) on other real-time PCR instruments.

All probes in the Universal ProbeLibrary Set, Human have passed a real-time PCR performance test using the matching primers and control templates from the Universal ProbeLibrary Control Set. Each probe is analyzed by anion-exchange HPLC and MALDI-MS to ensure purity and quality.
